I did some pottery
It'd been nearly 20 years since I sat down at a pottery wheel, and I had the itch. I signed up for a beginner class at a local studio in Tigard and got to spend five weeks refreshing my skills. I ended up with a few nice pieces--I'm particularly happy with the last two mugs. I'm not going right back into the studio, but I have dreams of a backyard shed with my own wheel. Maybe some sculpture next.
